Real timber is the only floor you can resand and refinish decades later. It is an investment floor, and it behaves like one.

The range

What we supply

Solid timberA single piece of hardwood through the full board. Can be resanded many times over its life.
Engineered timberA real timber wear layer over a stable plywood core. More tolerant of Melbourne’s humidity swings.
Australian speciesBlackbutt, spotted gum, blackwood and Tasmanian oak — strong grain, local character.
European oakSofter, more even grain. Takes a wide range of stains, from pale Nordic to deep smoked.
Board formatsWide plank, standard strip, herringbone and chevron, in matte, satin or brushed finishes.

Worth knowing. Timber moves with humidity and will mark. That patina is part of the appeal, but it is not the floor for a laundry or bathroom.
