Who we are

What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us. Through this website, that is the information you type into an enquiry or quote form:
- Your name
- Your phone number and/or email address
- Your suburb, if you provide it
- Details about the flooring work you are enquiring about
- Anything else you write in the message field
If you later become a customer, we will also hold the information needed to carry out and invoice the work — such as the site address and the measurements taken.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, arrange a measure, prepare a quote, carry out work you have engaged us for, and handle any warranty or service questions afterwards. That is all.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
We will share your details with a third party only where it is necessary to do the job you have asked for — for example, a supplier delivering material to your address — or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for a reasonable period in case you come back to us, then deleted. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If we add website analytics in future, this policy will be updated to say so before it happens.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can access it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@ausomflooring.com.au or call 0415 284 015 and we will deal with it.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
