Our name says what we are: an Australian flooring company that wants to be more than a price per square metre.

Flooring is one of the few trades where the customer almost never has enough information to judge the quote in front of them. Two numbers can look identical and mean completely different things once you account for underlay, subfloor preparation, removal of the old floor and who is actually laying it. That gap is where most bad experiences in this industry come from.

So we built the business around closing it. We measure before we quote. We itemise what is in the price. We tell you when the cheaper product is the right one, and we tell you when it is not. And the person who measures your floor stays accountable for the job that gets installed.

Comfort today

A floor is the single largest surface in a room and the only one you are in contact with all day. It decides how warm a room feels, how loud it is, how safe it is underfoot and how tired you are at the end of a shift standing on it. Getting that right for the people who actually use the space is the whole job.

Stronger tomorrows

The second half of our tagline is about what we leave behind. Flooring is heavy, and for decades the end of its life meant landfill. We take the old floor away on every job and send what we can to recycling rather than the tip. On commercial work we push modular carpet tile, because replacing one worn square metre instead of a whole floor is the biggest single waste saving available in this trade.

It also means specifying floors that last. The most sustainable floor is the one you do not replace in six years, which is why we would usually rather you spent a little more on the hallway and a little less on the spare room.
